Member companies of the World Steel Association are committed to a vision where steel is valued as a major foundation of a sustainable world.
In 2003, sustainability indicators were established by worldsteel member companies, in consultation with external organisations. The indicators measure progress in fulfilling the commitments outlined in the sustainable development policy. This 2010 update reports on 2006, 2007 and 2008 performance against these indicators.
