The 2008 Sustainability Report underlines the actions that the industry is taking to address its sustainability challenges. It is based on a survey of 500 stakeholders located in Europe, North America, South America, Australia, Asia and Africa. The report captures indicator data from 38 companies and two regional associations.

- In 2008, the leaders of more than 50 steel companies signed the sustainable development charter, to show their support for the commitments. You can see the poster of the charter with signatures by clicking on the last PDF link at the bottom of this page.
