6) The data provided by worldsteel contains the end-of-life recycling rate for steel products in specific sectors, and as regional or global averages. This is the amount of steel that is recycled back into the steelmaking process once a product has reached the end of its life. It is not the amount of scrap that was initially used to make the product. If you have a recycling rate, please specify this rate. Alternatively, if you would like us to use our average rate for a particular sector, as a regional or global average or as an overall average, please specify the sector (automotive, packaging, construction or all steel) and the region (global or Europe). *
