JFE Steel Corporation today announced that its Chita Works has acquired ISO 45001 (JIS Q 45001) Certification, an international standard for occupational health and safety management systems.
Based on the core principle that “safety takes precedence over everything else,” all staff employed at our steel mills and manufacturing plants are working together to create safe and healthy workplaces. In order to further promote autonomous and systematic occupational health and safety management throughout the organization, we have established occupational health and safety management processes that comply with the international standard ISO 45001.
