In 2018, worldsteel recognised six safety and health programmes for their excellent contribution to the safety and health of steel industry employees. The companies which were recognised were: Ezz Steel/EZDK, Liberty OneSteel, Ternium, Usiminas, Tata Steel Limited and Essar Steel.
